Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Let everything take second place to our care of our children

The children in grades 4K & 5K will have two opportunities to meet.  We will be offering sessions on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. and also during the week, with a schedule TBD.

Our Child Ministry program is taking on a new component this year as we begin to offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CHS) to our youngest students.  Based on the Montessori method, CGS sessions take place in the atrium–a special room set aside for our students.  As CGS #3 says, “The atrium is a place of prayer in which work and study spontaneously become meditation, contemplation and prayer.”

All 4K and 5K children will be using this program.

Registration will be done using the same Christian Formation registration form as other members of the family.

We are called by name...

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field. It is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when full-grown it is the largest of plants. It becomes a large bush, and the birds of the sky come and dwell in its branches.” Matthew 13:31-32
