Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Let everything take second place to our care of our children

Our Child Ministry program is using Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CHS) to form our youngest students.  Based on the Montessori method, CGS sessions take place in the atrium–a special room set aside for our students.  As CGS #3 says, “The atrium is a place of prayer in which work and study spontaneously become meditation, contemplation and prayer.”

The children in grades 3K, 4K & 5K will have two opportunities to meet.  Families will be able to choose sessions on either Mondays from 4:00pm – 5:30pm or Wednesday from 6:00pm – 7:30pm, with a schedule TBD.  There will be no CGS sessions offered on Sunday mornings.

All 3K, 4K and 5K children will be using this program.

Registration will be done using the same Christian Formation registration form as other members of the family.

We are called by name...

“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field. It is the smallest of all the seeds, yet when full-grown it is the largest of plants. It becomes a large bush, and the birds of the sky come and dwell in its branches.” Matthew 13:31-32
