Matthew Schwab
Matt has served in the liturgical ministries of Lector and Usher over the years, and is a regular attendee of 8:00 Mass. The enthusiasm, energy, and spirituality of the liturgies and parishioners keeps him coming back for more.
Matt is the Chair of Pastoral Council. Matt joined Pastoral Council in 2019 as a representative to the Finance Council.
Matt's career has been in the Information Technology industry for the past 25 years. Matt has worked at Foley and Lardner LLP for the past 13 years, and his current role there is a network engineer.
John Gassert
John serves as an usher and regularly attends the Mass at 8:00 AM.
John has made lasagna for St. Bens while we could and is now helping assemble sandwiches. John helps with the Grief Ministry as needed. John was also a member of the Love One Another Campaign Committee.
John was married for 44 years; His wife passed away in February 2016. John has one daughter and two wonderful grandchildren who live in Springdale Arkansas.
John is a retired Professor Emeritus at MSOE where he taught electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, and medical informatics classes. John truly enjoys doing volunteer work for the Church, Riveredge Nature Center, Ozaukee Family Services, and YMCA. John is an active member of the Grafton Lions.
John Krueger
They have one son, Christopher, who is married and lives in Whitefish Bay with his wife, Becca, and three children, Henry, Sam, and Alex. They are happy to be able to see them regularly.
John retired from regular practice in 2017 but still enjoys working occasionally on an “on call” basis. Retirement has given him the opportunity to become more involved with the Grafton Lions Club and Grafton Historical Society. John also like to golf and bike in the summer and cross country ski in winter.
John joined the Pastoral Council in September of 2021 and looks forward to serving the parish in this capacity.
Char Blaubach
Char has served as a Eucharistic Minister at 4pm mass for approximately twelve years. She has assisted in Fish Fry setups for the last two years and has helped with the Farmers Market.
Char is also a member of the school’s unpaid staff, working in the library in various capacities.
Char has been retired since April of 2018 from a lifetime career as a Medical Technologist, the last 26 plus years at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls.
Char continues as a volunteer through Community Memorial Hospital, knitting prayer shawls, & lap robes, & baby blankets for Cancer Care, Rehab, & OB.
Brenda Jobe
Brenda has taught Christian Formation classes for 1st grade for a brief stint and helped with one of the capital campaigns a few years back.
Brenda is a Registered Nurse and family nurse practitioner. She has been a professor at Concordia University Wisconsin for 17 years, teaching nursing students.
Tom Bryde
Tom is retired but works part-time at Mee-Kwon golf course. He is a past President of the Cedarburg Lions. He is an active member of the Cedarburg Lions involved with fundraising and several service projects.
He and Liz can generally be found at the 8:00 AM Sunday Mass.
Tom Krueger
They have two children, John and Amy, and five grandchildren.
Since joining St. Joseph’s, Tom have become involved with ushering at the 4:00 mass and assisting with Hospitality, the Farmer’s Market and the Fish Fry. In 2022 Tom was accepted to the Pastoral Council and was a liaison to the Finance Council.
Tom retired in 2016 after 35 years in the restaurant business, he was owner and manager of Barth’s at the Bridge restaurant in Cedarburg, followed by five years in the homebuilding business and then eleven years at Sendik’s Market in Grafton as Wine & Spirits manager.
In Tom's spare time, he serves on the board of directors of the Cedarburg History Museum and volunteer with the Cedarburg Fire Department and at the Rivoli Theatre. Tom also enjoys spending time golfing, flyfishing and hunting.
Jack Reindl
Jack has been active in Lions Clubs at both the local, district and state level.
Jack has been an usher for many years and looks forward to getting more involved in the parish.
Jeff Wildt
Jeff has served on the Human Concerns Committee for the last two years and has been active as part of the Creation Care Team. He also serves on the board of The Food Pantry, Inc which is an organization based in Port Washington that works to alleviate hunger in Ozaukee County by acquiring and distributing food to those who seek aid.
Jeff joined the Pastoral Council in 2023 and is looking forward to his first liaison assignment.

In her spare time Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, gardening, cooking, and traveling. She is also a member of the Grafton Lions Club.
